Mottisfont New Visitor Centre
Haycock Associates have been appointed by the National Trust to support the architectural design team (Burd Haward) in flood proofing the new visitor centre, to be located in the River Test floodplain. Haycock Associates will be supporting on a variety of fronts, ensuring high flood standards of the new building as well as enhancing the water features local to the building in order to celebrate the water heritage of the Mottisfont Estate and the River Test and its leats that run through the property. Haycock Associates were involved in the development of the Conservation Management Plan for Mottisfont in 2009, working closely with Atkins Global (Heritage) group to deliver this document and the vision for the Estate. Water was a central theme for the estate, from the monastic period, through to the adoption of the River Test by the Rev. F.M. Halford
