Haycock Associates were commissioned by English Heritage to review the implications of the Flood and Water Management Act 2010, especially the sections dealing within the amendments to the Reservoir Act 1975. The final product of this work will be an advisory document issued to all owners of Historic Parkland. This document has been reviewed by the Environment Agency and representatives from the UK’s Dams and Reservoirs Panel Engineers. In addition to this work, Haycock Associates have undertaken the first phase of a detailed GIS review of all water features within Historic Parklands as well as water features upstream and downstream of these Parks. This data will be reviewed by English Heritage and used to support its advisory work on Estates as they deal with the implications of the amended Reservoir Act 1975.
