Habitat feasibility is totally dependent on the soils and water resources available and the sustainability of these. Haycock assess the resources available and advise on the implications for the desired habitat.

Exminster Marshes

The aim of the RSPB was to seasonally raise water levels to provide an enhanced wetland habitat. Haycock were asked to resolve the challenges of the site whilst improving local flood protection.

Loe Pool

Haycock have a long term involvement in managing this important coastal lagoon, developing a Water Level Management Plan that reflects the impact of rising sea levels in addition to managing water quality.

Feckenham Wylde Moor

Worcestershire Wildlife Trust manage this SSSI as a nature reserve. Haycock carried out a hydrology report on the site to identify how to manage variable water levels. This will assist in maintaining compliance with the standards set by Natural England.
